经济与管理学院组织开展“创建全国文明城市”志愿服务活动

2016年9月5日，为积极响应湘潭市“创建全国文明城市”的号召，弘扬“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，经济与管理学院青年志愿团组织的创文明志愿服务活动于华银区周边路口进行。院8名志愿者分上午、下午两个高峰时间段参与此次活动。
据了解，本次志愿服务活动涉及全市十多所学校、企业。活动时间从九月份开始，持续时间长达三个月，活动地点主要分布于市内部分交通路口、车站、商场等人群聚集地。各校、企业采取定点负责、轮流安排方式参与本次活动。
活动前期，经管学院青年志愿团广募志愿者，学院各级在校生也积极踊跃报名参加。
志愿者们在明确任务后，整齐穿戴好志愿者衣帽，手持交通文明标语，协助交警，对行人闯红灯、乱穿马路现象进行劝阻并正确引导；对老人、儿童过马路提供帮助；主动拾起路边垃圾，劝阻行人乱扔垃圾等不文明行为；宣传交通法规，引导市民文明礼让，安全出行。大多市民也都严格遵守，默契配合，志愿者们也获得连连好评。
此次活动展现了经管学院志愿者的风采，提升了市民对于全国文明城市创建活动的知晓率、参与率，也为市民安全出行做出了努力。
“这是我第一次参加志愿服务活动，这次活动让我在约束他人的同时也警醒了自己，要树立生命安全意识。我觉得很有意义，也对创建文明城市、和谐社会出了一份力。”14级会计二班石霓虹同学参加本次活动接受采访时说道。
目前，经管学院创建全国文明城市集中志愿服务活动正在有序进行中。
