——记湖南科技大学新生开学第一课活动顺利举行

为全面贯彻党的教育方针，落实立德树人的根本任务，以不负时代、奋力前行的姿态开启2022年秋季新学期征程，9月19日19:30湖南科技大学于北校第一田径场面向全体新生开展了以“做一个有思想的行动者”为主题的开学第一课。本次活动由湖南科技大学校党委副书记刘友金教授主讲，全体在校校领导、相关职能部门、各学院党政主要负责人莅临现场，全体2022级新生及其养成教育辅导员、教官就座聆听。

活动伊始，刘友金代表学校对2022级新生的到来表示了热烈的欢迎。他向同学们详尽地介绍了学校的发展历史、治校方略、师资队伍、设施建设。他还向新生们例举了湘潭本土的景物特色、美味佳肴、伟人将帅等一系列独具特色的文化，希望同学们在学习之余走出校园，切身感受地道的湖湘文化。

为了让新生深入地了解、熟悉、适应科大，刘友金带同学们一起观看PPT。其内容聚焦科大精神和光辉校史，展示了丰富多彩的校园生活和育人为本的教育理念。同学们被PPT的内容所吸引，聚精会神地看着大屏幕，沉浸其中。刘友金做总结发言。他希望每一位2022级的新同学们铭记“唯实惟新，至诚致志”的校训，用激情与活力、辛勤与汗水，谱写青春的乐章；用更好的自己，创造科大更好的未来！

星光闪烁灿烂，微风轻轻拂过。坐在台下的万名新生挥动着手机闪光灯和彩色水杯，齐声合唱《歌唱祖国》。随着歌曲进入高潮部分，新生们纷纷起立，高声歌唱。在这个夜晚，光亮凝聚，欢声笑语在此刻作陪。

风正潮平，自当扬帆破浪；任重道远，更需策马扬鞭。开学第一课既是希望，更是要求，让恰逢美好新时代的所有同学们为之动容，坚定了信念，树立了方向。该活动不仅能够帮助新生更好的融入适应大学生活，而且有利于培育出有理想、有追求的新时代大学生。
